The BEST  Pulled Pork Recipe

Oven roasted to perfection! Great for sandwiches, potlucks and makes great leftovers!

- 9 pound pork shoulder

Here are the ingredients you will need:

Feel free to use any dry rub seasoning you prefer!

Step 1

Rub-down the entire piece of meat with the dry rub. Then, wrap in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator to marinate overnight.

Step 2

When you are ready to cook, unwrap and place meat in a large roasting pan and cover with foil.

Step 3

Place in a preheated oven at 450F degrees for 20 minutes.

Then, reduce heat to 325F degrees and cook for about 8 hours. (approx. 1 hour per pound, depending on size)

Step 4

Remove from oven and allow to rest for 20 minutes. The temperature should read about 200 degrees fahrenheit with a meat thermometer.

Next, shred and serve on a bun with plenty of delicious sides.
