Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Spiked with Kentucky Bourbon! An old fashioned recipe gets an upgrade from the canned stuff. Make this in 30 minutes or less.

Mix all ingredients (except the bourbon) in a 9 x 13 casserole dish.

Step 1

This recipe can be made up to one week in advance and can be easily stretched with canned sauce!

Cook for about 1 hour or until cranberries have cooked down to your liking.

Step 2

Then, stir in bourbon and let it rest for about 10 minutes before serving.

- Bourbon can be omitted completely.  - Save the leftovers for turkey sandwiches! - Goes well with Thanksgiving Turkey and sides. - Makes a great topping for baked brie!
